All the schools in the Joaquin Independent School District and the Tenaha Independent School District are on lockdown at this hour, after a triple shooting at Joaquin Country Inn Motel, at 128 Waters Street in Joaquin, Texas.
A spokeswoman from the Joaquin ISD said the motel at which the shooting occurred is visible from the school complex.
According to law enforcement, the suspect in the shooting is at large somewhere in Shelby County. The suspect is a white male driving a pickup truck.
